Building Skills, Gaining Confidence
Elaha Rahimi, from Herat currently living in Kabul, Afghanistan, joined the Python Programming Course through EAGT Initiative, embarking on a journey that completely transformed her perspective on learning and technology. She reflects, “Sometimes the subjects we struggle with the most lead us to discover our true passion.” When she began her first year at the science faculty, Elaha had little interest in her field, and most classes, assignments, and exams felt exhausting and discouraging. Everything changed in her third semester when a university course in C++ sparked her curiosity and gave her a renewed sense of purpose. Through ABAAD, learning Python helped Elaha see the deep connections between mathematics and programming. The supportive teaching style, clear explanations, interactive practice sessions, and constructive feedback strengthened her skills in data types, conditions, and loops, while boosting her confidence in problem-solving. This experience inspired her to pursue her goals of becoming both a mathematics teacher and a professional programmer. “ABAAD didn’t just teach me Python, it helped me gain confidence, embrace challenges, and turn obstacles into opportunities for growth,” she shares. Elaha’s story demonstrates how guidance, encouragement, and hands-on learning can empower students to transform challenges into passions and take confident steps toward their future.
