Supporting Income Generation Through Vocational Training and Entrepreneurship

Cycle of Development is ABAAD’s structured skills-building initiative designed to equip Afghan girls with practical vocational and digital skills that support sustainable, home-based income generation.

Through a six-month training model, each program combines technical skills development with business and e-commerce education. This approach enables participants not only to learn a practical skill, but also to build the confidence, knowledge, and entrepreneurial capacity needed to turn those skills into viable income opportunities.

Introduction to Cycle of Development

Why This Program Matters

Many Afghan girls face significant barriers to economic participation, including limited access to employment, economic dependency, restricted mobility, and a lack of affordable vocational and professional training opportunities.

These challenges often prevent them from building independent livelihoods and secure futures.
Cycle of Development was created to address these gaps through structured, practical, and income-oriented training that girls can apply within their homes and communities.
